University of Nottingham前身是創於1881年的University College Nottingham，直到1948年升格為大學。它是一所位於英格蘭中部Nottingham的研究型大學，於Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019 排行全英第16名，跟據QS世界大學排名更是全球前100的大學。

University of Nottingham出色的科目很多，其中包括Accounting and Finance、Architecture、Civil Engineering、Economics、Electrical and Mechanical Engineering、Pharmacy、Physiotherapy、Phycology及Law等。除了學士、碩士和博士學位外，大學亦推出大學基礎課程供成績未達標直入大學的學生選擇，完成一年課程並符合要求便可升上大學一年級。
